OBESITY

Obesity is so prevalent in our young people now. Why do you think that is the case? Lack of exercise and poor eating habits are the top two on the list for sure. You can blame whatever you want on "genetics," but whenever I hear people do that, I observe the eating habits of the parents. If they are also poor, then "genetics" doesn't cut it.

What needs to happen is grown-ups and kids need to learn proper food combining first, eat a diet rich in mostly raw vegetables with some fruit, and participate in a moderate exercise program that suits the interests of each individual. If everyone tried that out with their genetic code, I'm sure we would see MUCH less obesity in this country. Think kids won't eat "salad?" Think again! Lots of kids eat salad and raw vegetables in many other dishes, but they need their parents to set a good example for them.
