ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE
What's so "alternative" about real HEALING? The conventional medical establishment makes "alternative medicine" sound like something that only whackos partake in, but I say that if the alternative to supressing symptoms with prescription drugs is a real cure, then it's definitely the alternative WE will choose everytime.
In my family we use homeopathy and kinesiology, and boy are we healthier for it! I started down the "alternative medicine" path when I started suspecting that, through my unhealthy eating and treatment of health problems through conventional pharmaceuticals, I was headed for some serious health problems. It was also being suggested to me, by my children's pediatrician, that one of my kids should be tested for ADHD (at 3 years of age!) That was enough for me. I started looking into healthy eating, and alternative medicine, and haven't looked back.
I highly recommend that you learn everything you can learn about any health problems that you concern you. Ask lots of questions, and question everybody. Read both sides of every debate, and make your own, informed decisions. Don't blindly take anyone's word for life and death matters.
